On Tuesday, 10th June 2025, the children at our school were treated to a delightful visit from Luna, an adorable eight-month-old sausage dog puppy. With the absence of Maggie, our beloved therapy dog who is set to rejoin us this September, the students have been feeling her absence keenly.
Luna's arrival brought an infectious wave of excitement, lifting the spirits of both children and staff alike. The moment she bounded onto the playground, her wagging tail and playful demeanor captivated the hearts of Primary 1 students. Many little ones rushed to greet her, and soon, giggles and cheerful barking filled the air as they ran around the field, forging a special bond with our charming four-legged guest.
The visit was not just about fun; it provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to engage with a pet, reinforcing the important role that animals play in our lives. The day served as a gentle reminder of the joy and comfort that therapy dogs like Maggie provide. As we eagerly await her return, Luna's playful antics surely left an imprint on the hearts of the children, bringing them a much-needed dose of happiness in the meantime.
